Winter Reminders

It's that time of year again, when everyone must be especially careful when walking on sidewalks, driveways and porches.  As a reminder, the Association Board decided three years ago, to only salt driveways and sidewalks during severe ice storms, saving all of us, thousands of dollars.  It was also decided that everyone should buy a bucket of ice melt to use on their own porches and sidewalks if needed. This has been our winter policy for over three years.  If anyone needs help spreading their ice melt or salt, please contact the sunshine committee and someone will help spread the deicing material you have decided to use.  We do salt all intersections and curves in our roads to minimize driving problems, whenever it snows or gets slippery.

Also, it is our policy to have all cars parked in the street moved to your driveways during snow emergencies like this past weekend. We cannot expect our snow removal contractor to plow around parked cars.  Please help us with this as there were several cars left in the street during the past snow storm..

Lastly, as a reminder, all holiday decorations must not be placed in commons areas and must be removed by January 31, 2014.  Be sure you do not use outside fasteners like nails or screws and follow our By-Laws outlining holiday decoration use and requirements. Those in violation will receive a notice from our management company to correct any observed violations.
