Just a brief note on the Coffee Social this Saturday, and the "Partners in Your Safety" (PIYS) program that will be discussed by our guest, Officer Patti Esselink, of the Canton Community Relation Division.
The PIYS program will empower individual neighborhoods with the resources and tools necessary to succeed in creating a safer community. As residents become more involved, they will become more aware of incidents and issues in their area; and easily establish methods of crime prevention and/or reduction.
Participating neighborhoods will have the opportunity to achieve accreditation status once completing the program 3 Goal requirements.
Neighborhood involvement at an individual level is vital to the success of the program. Christine Meath and Ray Losi have agreed to lead this program for ours Vistas Asssociation. Please drop by the clubhouse for the Coffee Social between 9-11:00 to learn more about the initiative.
If you are unable to be there, don't hesitate to contact:
OR join them at the PIYS crime prevention presentation to be held February 16, 2016 at Summit on the Parkway in the banquet center at 7:00 p.m.
