The Canton Police Department is ready to ramp up its next Citizens Police Academy starting April 14. “We recognize the value of transparency in police work,” Canton Public Safety Director Todd Mutchler said, “and we believe in the age-old concept of the police are the public and the public are the police.” The Canton Police Department is now accepting applications for its next Citizens Police Academy to be held this spring.
