Gazebo Update

Some residents suggested that the damaged Gazebo be demolished and replaced with benches and landscaping.  The Board also considered this scenario. The cost to demolish would be higher than the cost to repair.  In order to demolish the gazebo, there would need to be another master deed amendment drawn up by the attorney; and the same labor intensive procedure the we went through for this last amendment, would be necessary. The problem is the gazebo is listed on our master deed as an amenity to our development like the pool, club house and tennis courts.  This would require a two thirds approval of all Vistas I homeowners to remove the gazebo.  The Board felt this was too onerous to do now, after the difficulty in getting the same approval as our document update project required.

The board voted to have the gazebo repaired and the area around it landscaped.  Repair of the Gazebo should be completed by October 15th.
