DECK COMMITTEE UPDATE:
The Board of Directors would also like to thank the deck committee of John Crandall, Bill Neihengen, Glen Coker, George Holder, Barbra Smyth, Mel Bader and Tom Robertson. Chaired by Tom Zapalski they came up with a solution to the multiple colors that our decks are being painted and/ or stained.
As of July 1, 2016 the following rules will be in place for all decks without exception:
>> Cottonwood #SL3040 by Sherwin Williams, must be used if you are painting your deck
>> TWP 100 Cedartone stain must be used if you stain your deck (Home Depot and Lowe's stock the stain in their stores, if you decide to have a professional do it for you most people use "Restore a Deck" company 248-482-0150, these decks should be refreshed every 3 years.)
>>Trex "Tree House" color (or material matching this color) must be used for all composite decks installed. As per policy, ALL composite decks require an AltMod be submitted with color sample. The color match must be approved by the Board of Directors.

UPDATES FROM THE BOARD:
The Pool will open Saturday, May 23rd. The pool is being resurfaced, all of the furniture has been redone and new bases have been purchased for the umbrellas - so dust off your swim suits and get ready!!
This is the spring for Mulch to be spread throughout the Association. The mulch will not be double ground as used two years ago. As soon as the date of mulch spread is determined it will be published. **As a reminder, if any owner purchases mulch for their beds, it must match in color and texture to the mulch currently down.**
The Association's annual meeting will be held in June, all home owner's are encouraged to attend. The date has not been finalized but, will be published immediately upon confirmation; as well as some of the points for discussion.
Good things to see -- Tree trimming is in process and almost completed; and our roads will once again be cleaned this year sometime in early June :)
In June, the Association will participate in a Vistas I, II, and III garage sale once again. So its time to begin gathering your items! As a reminder -- individual garage sales are not allowed outside of the community sales in the spring and fall. If you have a request for an Estate Sale, please contact Herriman directly. As these circumstances differ this type sale is allowed.
With the nicer weather coming, we are once again hoping to start up our informal walking club. Look for more information in May. We are also hoping to begin a strictly informal bike riding, pickle ball, or golfing group -- anyone interested?? Give me a call. Christine Meath 248-880-9201 or christinemeath@gmail.com. It's so exciting to think about being outside again!
Once again, a reminder to keep our speeds down as we drive through the Association - especially now as the walkers and bike riders will flood the streets!!
