September Board Meeting Updates

All outside garage door lights are now shining bright! A huge thanks to Tom Zapalski and Tom Robertson for all their efforts!

Garage door painting is complete, curb repairs are done, trees were sprayed in August for the Japanese Beetle and we have a new vendor to clean out our 50 foot long dryer vents (more specifics to follow in the next blog).  Thanks for everyone's cooperation and assistance during this time of repair and maintenance.

One note for co-owners,  as we've mentioned before the life span of our interior fire alarms is approximately 10 years, many of us have had to replace the units, not just the batteries.  Something to consider as we come upon the time to normally change the batteries!  One of our units went out last year the night of Super Bowl - of course the one over the basement stairway - couldn't even get an emergency person to come out so had to take the dogs and stay at my daughters house!! Always better to be prepared.

Recently some of the co-owners have had to replace sump pumps - come to find out their life span is also 10-12 years.  Something to discuss with the owner sharing your unit. Just an FYI.

While I don't have the write up yet, I understand the golf outing was a HUGE success!! Next year it is already earmarked for September 13 - so  mark your calendars!!
