The brass front door handles used on our units are from two vendors: 1) Schlage Lock - They are an Ultima Series - Plymouth Model. This door handle has a lifetime warranty on the mechanism and the finish. If you are seeing a pitted finish or having other difficulties, Schlage can be reached by phone to their Customer Service number at 888.805-9837 or you can visit the website at www.schlagelock.com.
2) Kwikset - We don't have the model number but a co-owner was successful when he sent a photo to Kwikset. They asked him to call and sent replacement/parts for a small shipping and handling fee. Their contact information is: 800.327-LOCK(5625) www.kwikset.com/Customer-Support/Overview.aspx.
