We have learned this morning that an unknown source has been sending erroneous suspicious emails to various persons. These suspicious emails look to be coming from a herriman.net email address such as: kharraff@herriman.net. And may also contain an attachment or zip file.
PLEASE DO NOT OPEN ANY ATTACHMENTS. Herriman & Associates, Inc. does not send emails with zip file attachments. If you are in doubt, please contact our office before opening the attachment to confirm if you have received a legitimate email from one of our associates.
We have confirmed that all information on our server is secure. These groups conceal their identity in the original header of the email and mask themselves by assuming a legitimate email address like one of our herriman.net extensions. These suspicious emails are not coming from our server.
We assure you that our network has not been breached, and all information is secure.
