The fire lane signs in our community are not a
suggestion. The fire lane is the same side of the street
as the mail boxes, except where designated otherwise. They are
posted because it is against Michigan Vehicle Code Act to park in a place or in
a manner that blocks access to a space clearly designated as a fire lane.
Violators can be ticketed. Emergency vehicles must have free access to go
anywhere in our community. Please do not park in the fire lanes; and ask
your guests and contractors not to park in the fire lane.
