As the warmer weather approaches, the Canton Police would like to remind everyone to lock their vehicles when unattended. Vehicles parked along streets and in parking lots can be targeted for theft. Valuables left in the vehicle may generate motivation for criminals to quickly break a window and grab your valuables.
Always keep valuables out of plain view when parking your vehicle. Always remove your purse, wallet, laptop, and other valuables from your vehicle. If you need to leave items in the vehicle place them in the trunk and lock all of your doors. If you see someone looking into vehicles in a parking lot or on the street please call the police to report the activity.
