HOLIDAY LIGHTING REMINDER

We've had some questions regarding the guidelines for Christmas lighting and decorating.  Here's a copy of the rules, excerpted for your convenience:

·         The only acceptable areas to decorate include the front porch, deck, interior of windows, front door and landscaping in the front mulched areas.  Other areas require an Alteration/Modification Request Form and approval by the Board.
·         Nails, screws or fasteners must not be installed into any part of the building without approval from the Board of Directors through the use of an Alteration/Modification Request Form sent to our management company
·         Gutter hooks or fasteners are not allowed at any time without written approval and, if approved, the co-owner is responsible for any damage to the wood, trim, gutters, etc. and will be repaired at the co-owners expense.
·         Christmas decorations are permitted to be put up the Friday after Thanksgiving and must be removed by the end of January. Please refer to Bylaws, Art VI, page 17 for other holiday specifics.
·         Holiday lights can be of any color.
·         No displays are permitted in the general Common grass areas.
