Lets join together to form the VCP Phase I Sunshine Group.  Our basic principle is to spread good will and further develop the foundation of our “village” by strengthening our roots.

Initially, we hope to deepen the connection within our neighborhood and ensure we can support, celebrate, or commiserate with each other. While not being intrusive, we would build a network to allow us to be better neighbors. 

Secondly, as we are very blessed to be living in VCP, we would also explore ways to support others outside our “village”.  One idea, recently on the Today Show, is to have a potluck dinner; everyone brings a dish, pays $5 to eat, and at the same time submits the name of a charity. At the end of the night one of the charities is drawn, and the charity receives all monies collected.  An evening of good food, good friends, and a way to make a difference.  Everyone benefits!

At this point we have lots of ideas – but no firm plans -- THAT’S WHY WE NEED YOU!
